Embarcation
Abstract drawing in pencil (graphite) on paper. White wing-like form at center-bottom. Almost meandering line separating much darker area at top right from a lighter area below. The upper left delineated diagonally from center left edge to upper center edge presents a lighter shade in that corner. In that space there is a small form that is revealed more by its apparent shadow than by any solidity. A desired dramatic effect.
