The East Gate Path
Pastel on Paper. A view of the so named path to the Bronx Botanical Gardens. In an effort to conjure up any "Wild Beast" of color that is the signature of The Fauves I created a rather staid Autumnal scene. The trees belie Nature in their being blue, and it works nicely with orange, red, and gold foliage.
